We have installed photovoltaic solar panels at Casa Cares in Reggello, thus reducing CO2 emissions into the atmosphere.
The Waldensian Lodge in Torre Pellice, Waldensian Hotel in Rome and Waldensian Hotel in Pietra Ligure make use of cleaning products that can be diluted to reduce the quantities of waste.
At Casa Cares in Reggello we use produce from our own vegetable garden and other nearby sources. enhancing the value of local produce and reducing the pollution that derives from transport.
At the Waldensian House in Rio Marina we have installed a centralised system with a heat pump that optimises the use of electricity.
At the Waldensian Hotel in Pietra Ligure we have installed water flow reducers to diminish water consumption.
At the Waldensian House in Vallecrosia, the Waldensian Lodge in Florence and the Waldensian Hotel in Pietra Ligure, we have installed soap dispensers at the wash basins and in the showers, in substitution of the courtesy products, thus reducing the quantity of waste produced.
We invite our guests to use bath towels for several days to reduce the consumption of water and electricity.

We sort our wastes to favour recycling and re-use of raw materials, thus diminishing the consumption of natural resources and the energy required to transform them.
